Interesting and thought provoking. I like the choice of animals to represent levels of speed. I also like the glow effect on the animals and on the odometer. What inspired this piece? I've seen timeline-style comparisons of speed, but I don't remember ever seeing one like this.

I think it would be cool if, instead of an X marking the current position, you used a needle like in a car or on a motorbike. Or if you used a gradient from the slowest to the fastest speed. Another idea would be to have the current speed more glowing than the others, to make it stand out more.
