Chapter 2: The Tournament Begin!
Like a blink of an eye, two days of preparations for the Pokedex Holders Pokemon Battle Tournament had already passed by, and Violet along with the other Pokedex Holders patiently await in front of the huge monitor inside the waiting area for the announcement of the match ups for the first round of the tournament.
All in all, there are 20 participants, her, Bronze, Red, the mastermind of the event, Green. Green's close friends, Silver. Gold, a close friend of Red and also Silver's rival. The Comedy Duo, Diamond and Pearl and their friend Platina. Red's rival Blue, and their friends Crystal and Yellow. White and her male counterpart Black who is along with his friends Cheren and Bianca. Ruby, Sapphire, and Wally, Pokemon Trainers from Littleroot Town. And lastly is Emerald, a Pokemon Trainer who is a close friend of the Legendary Twin Pokemons, the Eon Duo, Latios and Latias.
All 20 of them had been gathered by Mr. Billy Richie to prove to the world that they are the best among the best of the Pokedex Holders.
And the monitor finally announced the match ups of the First Round:
Green will battle against Silver,
Bronze will fight Gold,
The Comedy Duo, Diamond and Pearl will go against each other,
While she will battle against the "Healer" of Viridian Forest, Yellow,
Red will face the Pokemon catching expert, Crystal,
The President of the BW Agency, White against the Mr. Intelligence, Cheren,
Black against Bianca,
Wally versus Emerald,
Sapphire will go against Ruby,
And lastly will be Blue against Platina.
The matches are finally settled!
And the Tournament Begins!
Even though the Pummelo Stadium is capable of commencing numerous battles at the same time, by Mr. Richie's decision, each Pokemon Battles will be held one at a time so he can savor each battle instead of dividing his attention if numerous battles will happen at the same time.
The First Battle started: Green vs. Silver
Green chooses Clefable as her first Pokemon while Silver uses his Magneton.
Magneton attacked Clefable with Spark, but Clefable evaded the attack with ease by increasing his evasion by using Minimize.
Clefable counters with Meteor Mash, dealing a huge amount of damage to Magneton. Clefable's also receives and increase in Attack Stat by using the move.
Clefable used Pound, before Magneton could have a chance to recover. Magneton received another serious amount of damage.
[Green 1 Silver 0]
Clefable remains while Silver released his Crobat.
Crobat attacked Clefable with Wing Attack, Clefable used Defense Curl to minimize the damage. Crobat damaged Clefable but it didn't bother him that much.
Clefable used Copycat and imitated the previous attack of Crobat. Clefable used Wing Attack dealing a fair amount of damage to Crobat.
Crobat countered Clefable with Poison Fang, Clefable received a fair amount of damage. Clefable was poisoned.
Clefable used Stored Power against Crobat. The move inflicted an extreme amount of damage to Crobat.
[Green 2 Silver 0]
Green substituted Clefable with Nidoqueen while Silver chooses Alakazam.
Nidoqueen used Poison Fang, effectively damaging and poisoning Alakazam. Alakazam tried to use Recover to heal himself but move failed.
Nidoqueen followed the attack with Fury Swipes, inflicting multiple damages to Alakazam.

Nidoqueen remains on the field, Silver chooses Sneasel.
Sneasel used Agility, drastically increasing his movements and attack speed. Sneasel used Slash, Nidoqueen fails to defend due to the swiftness of Sneasel's movements. Nidoqueen received a critical amount of damage.

Sneasel remains while Green chooses Granbull as her next Pokemon.
Granbull used Roar, forcing Sneasel to return to his Pokeball.
Silver replaced Sneasel with Gengar.
Gengar attacked Granbull with Shadow Punch, inflicting a considerable damage to Granbull.
Granbull counterattacked Gengar with Payback, Gengar received double of the amount of damage that he inflicted to Granbull from his previous attack when he used Shadow Punch.
Granbull followed her attack with a Headbutt.

Granbull remains, Silver released Sneasel back to the field.
Sneasel attacked Granbull using the same pattern of movements when he defeated Nidoqueen. Granbull received a critical amount of damage.
Granbull used the double edged move Outrage, continuously attacking Sneasel with Headbutts, Bites and Tackles. Sneasel's swiftness was deemed useless by the outraged Granbull, Sneasel received great damage from Granbull's attacks.
Sneasel Fainted, Granbull is Confused

Green returned the confused Granbull to her Pokeball and replaced her with Blastiose while Silver used his last Pokemon, Typhlosion.
The 2 Pokemons are evenly matched, but the Elemental advantage decided the outcome of the Battle.

Second Battle: Bronze vs. Gold
Bronze released Golem while Gold chooses Sudowoodo. Both of the Pokemons used are Rock-Type.
Both Pokemons engaged in an almost simultaneous all out attacks against each other, Sudowoodo used Slam while Golem used Heavy Slam. The 2 Rock-Type Pokemons collided. It appears so evenly matched but in the end it was Sudowoodo that was pushed back and received a heavy amount of damage from the Heavy Slam move of Golem.
Sudowoodo failed to recover from the collision.
[Bronze 1 Gold 0]
Both Trainers returned their respective Pokemons to their Pokeballs. Gold chooses Politoed, Bronze chooses Skarmory.
Skarmory flew, leaving Politoed in the ground. Politoed used Water Gun to shoot Skarmory in the air, but Skarmory used Agility, evading the Water Gunattacks of Politoed. Skarmory started to counterattack with Steel Wing, but before he could unleash the attack, Politoed used Swagger, increasing the attack power of Skarmory but also confusing him. Due to confusion Skarmory hurt himself instead of Politoed. Skarmory fell into the ground.
Politoed attacked him once more with Water Gun.

Politoed remains on the field, while Bronze chooses Zangoose this time.
Politoed used Mud Bomb against Zangoose, but Zangoose had used the moveDetect first, expecting the next move of Politoed thus easily avoiding it. Zangoose countered with Crush Claw that didn't just damage Politoed but also lowers his defense power, Zangoose followed his initial attack with Slash, that deal a critical damage to Politoed.
[Bronze 2 Gold 1]
For the next round, Gold chooses Typhlosion while Bronze substituted Zangoose with Golem.
Golem used the move Earthquake against Typhlosion, but Typhlosion jumped, avoiding the damage of the Ground Type attack from his adversary. In mid-air, Typhlosion used Rollout combined with Defense Curl and dashed like a meteorite towards Golem. Golem received all 5 of the simultaneous and increasing damages that Typhlosion inflicted on him. Golem was severely damaged and was unable to recover.
[Bronze 2 Gold 2]
Typhlosion returned to his Pokeball and was subbed by Ambipom, while Bronze brings Zangoose back to the field.
Ambipom used Agility and attacked Zangoose with Fury Swipes, however, Zangoose had already used Detect and had effectively protected himself from the fatal damages that he could have received from Ambipom's swift attacks. Zangoose counterattack with X-Scissors, fairly damaging Ambipom.
Zangoose attack using Close Combat that both hurt Ambipom as well as it lowers down his defense power. Zangoose then followed his previous attack with Slash that serves as his finishing move.
[Bronze 3 Gold 2]
The almost undamaged Zangoose remains on the field while Gold used Typhlosion once more.
Zangoose used the move Detect again but it failed this time, so he was unable to protect himself from the Defense Curl + Rollout combination attack of Typhlosion.
Zangoose retired immediately from the battle.
[Bronze 3 Gold 3]
Typhlosion returned to his Pokeball again, and both players choose their next Pokemons. Bronze choose Absol and Gold chooses Togekiss.
Togekiss flew and attacked Absol with Air Slash, however, Absol can also use Detect and had protected himself from the upcoming attack of Togekiss. Absol attacked him back with Night Slash that both critically hurt Togekiss and ended the battle.
[Bronze 4 Gold 3]
Absol stays, while Gold chooses Sunflora.
Absol dashed towards Sunflora using Quick Attack, while Sunflora shoots Absol with Bullet Seeds. Absol tried to dodge all the seeds but some still hits him. Absol had already received a fair amount of damage before his attack connects to Sunflora. Both of the Pokemons were hurt.
Sunflora recovered and attacked Absol with Razor Leaf which Absol countered with Razor Wind. Razor Leaf and Razor Wind clashed, nullifying both attacks.
Absol and Sunflora are evenly matched, so both decided to use their finishing moves. Absol used Night Slash while Sunflora used Solar Beam. Both of the attacks connected, severely damaging both parties.
Absol and Sunflora Fainted.
[Bronze 5 Gold 4]
Gold used his last and strongest Pokemon, Typhlosion, Bronze also released his trump card, Blaziken. A Battle between Fire Types.
Typhlosion jumped and used his Defense Curl + Rollout combination attack while Blaziken jumped too and clashed Typhlosion's combo with Sky Uppercut. Typhlosion's combo failed and receives damage from Blaziken's attack.
Typhlosion recovered and attacked Blaziken with Flame Thrower. Blaziken jumped again, evading Typhlosion's attack. Blaziken counters with a Double Kick followed with Slash. Typhlosion received a heavy amount of damage.
[Bronze 6 Gold 4]
Violet stared in awe as she witness the conclusion of the second battle. Pokemon Battles from Pokedex Holders surely are breathtaking to watch.
Currently, 2 battles from the First Round had finally ended, eight more to go, and things are just getting more interesting.
